Reviews
Book which helps to express feelings, it is good for fine motor skills and creating fun activities for students. It's good for starting a new class or school. I enjoyed the humour.

What a great way to start the school year with these lovely, colourful illustrations and introduction to all the good things on offer at school. A comforting read for teachers and pupils as we wave goodbye to the summer holiday.

Seems like this would be a great book to read to children ahead of the new school year. Brings a little bit of laughter and joy that school can be a fun place, where pupils can make friends, get creative and talk to lots of different people.

I used this book at the beginning of September, in EYFS. The story is fictional, based on a monsters first day experience of school. It is a great book for children who are excited or feeling apprehensive about starting school and gives them an insight to the wonderful activities they could take part in. I would recommend it to any child or teacher, it also links well to the original 'Colour Monster' where you can explore feelings.
